Ravenshon

Ravenshon was an inspiration that came to me after taking a class with Jean Bernard and Sherry Goshon! In fact, Ravenshon’s face is from Jean Benard’s “Becca” mold. This little lady would not stop spinning her web in my head until she was created!

Ravenshon is a mixed media piece – consisting of clay, apoxie sculpt, watch parts, paper, cloth and much more.. Her body is a soft cloth sculpts and her arms are wire sculpts.

Her face is clay with cloth over. Her legs are from a deconstructed umbrella and I used vintage and reproduction watch pieces on her legs.

I tried to take her in another direction, but she would have nothing of that…this girl was Steam Punk the whole way. I added light bulbs and a hat stand to the base to finish off her look.

Theadora

Theadora came into existence through the magic that always takes place in one of Jean Bernard and Sherry Goshon’s classes. She is a mixed media piece consisting of cloth, paper, clay, apoxie sculpt and a tomato cage!!

Theadora loves her winged friends and has her watchful raven on her hand and she points the way to something mysterious, just out of sight…only the brave of heart should continue.

Safe inside of Theadora is her own little effort of bat conservation and her little friend Bernie. He is waiting, safely inside of Theadora … waiting and hoping that you too will make a donation to bat conservation!

Winifred

Winifred is a polymer clay piece with wire legs, wool roving hair and hand painted face. She is an original piece of mine and came about when a group of us were having a play date and trying to use polymer clay. Who knew what magic would come from some aluminum foil, wire and clay!!! I am now totally under its spell!

Winifred is also a friend to bats and wears one close to her heart!
